The choice of the 25 new sites was carried out based on a fieldwork carried out on the entire road network of the District, with the aim of identifying areas with a greater parking deficit during the day and during the evening. With the aim of multicriteria integration, a raster plane has been developed that analyzes the parking deficit in areas of 100m x 100m, and the areas with the greatest deficits have been identified. These areas are concentrated around:
- Places of the City of Gracia (Revolution, North, Rovira and Trias, Joanic, Gala Placídia, Diamante, Virreina, Sol and Vila de Gràcia).
- Railway stations of Vila de Gràcia: FGC (Gràcia) and Metro (Fontana and Joanic).
- Streets of Asturias – Badia i Bonavista – Santa Teresa.
- Educational equipment
Finally, a file has been made as a preliminary draft for each of the chosen sites, which includes:
- Location.
- Current status.
- Plant of the proposal.
- Amounts.
- Budget
