A strategy to move towards more sustainable mobility

The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) of Sant Just Desvern 2018–2024 defines the municipal strategy to move towards a more sustainable, safe, and efficient mobility model. The document reviews and updates the existing planning with the aim of adapting it to the new environmental, social, and urban challenges of the municipality.

The plan analyzes the municipality’s mobility patterns, the distribution of trips, and the operation of the different transport networks, to define a set of actions that allow for reducing dependence on private vehicles and promoting active mobility and public transport.

The PMUS aligns with metropolitan sustainable mobility policies and establishes an integrated strategy that combines interventions in public spaces, improvements in public transport, traffic regulation, and communication and awareness actions.
